Travelling to Glasgow by train

This is for those travelling through to Glasgow tomorrow for the game and are new to going by train.

 

 

Between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday trains depart Waverley every 15mins for Glasgow. On the hour, quarter past, half hour and quarter to the hour.

 

All trains stop at Haymarket.

 

Prices are. Adult. Cheap day return adult ?9.80, half this for a child.

 

However there are deals. Group saver 3 and 4 where 3 or 4 people go and come back together. Group saver 3 works out at ?6.55 return per person.

?4.90 return per person on a group saver 4.

 

Family funday ticket. Where you pay for the Adult only. Children between 5-15 go for free. Minimum 1 adult and one child, Max 2 adults and four children.

 

Example 1 adult and 4 children would cost ?9.80 only 2 adults and 4 children

?19.60.

 

1 adult one child would be ?9.80. 2 adults and 1 child ?19.60.

 

I am sure you get the picture now.

 

After 7pm trains back are evey 30 mins. On the hour and the half hour.

 

Last train back from Queen Street is 11.30pm.
