......if Falkirk had been relegated?

No IMO, yet the difference in the end was tiny.

Shhhhh, don't let the cat out the bag or they may twig on!

There is not a snowballs chance in hell that they would have appointed dumbo had Falkirk went down, but all of a sudden they have a superstar and are better than Brazil again

Good point, best keep quiet about it and let them keep banging on about the return of the flair.

In a wider context though, that's football: it's played, won and lost on the margins.

Imagine if Leighton's legs weren't bandy?

Would Foster have scored?

Imagine if Goram didn't have a hangover on May 16th 1998?

Would he have palmed Adam's shot away?

Imagine if Colin Hendry's foul on Sandy Clark had given us a penalty at Dens in '86?

What the margins of life giveth: they also taketh away!

I'm well aware of that, I just find it amusing that many of the vermin appear to be creaming themselves over his appointment when they most likely would have been raging had he just got Falkirk relegated.

Mate is a Falkirk fan who thinks he has won the lottery.

Not only have they eventually got rid off BINGO, but they have coined in ?200k as well.

Had Falkirk been relegated he would have resigned and Hibs could have had him for nowt.

PS - Monday night, Hibs appoint Bingo

Tuesday morning, Fletcher in press looking for a move
