In a wider context though, that's football: it's played, won and lost on the margins. Imagine if Leighton's legs weren't bandy? Would Foster have scored? Imagine if Goram didn't have a hangover on May 16th 1998? Would he have palmed Adam's shot away? Imagine if Colin Hendry's foul on Sandy Clark had given us a penalty at Dens in '86? I'm well aware of that, I just find it amusing that many of the vermin appear to be creaming themselves over his appointment when they most likely would have been raging had he just got Falkirk relegated. Had Falkirk been relegated he would have resigned and Hibs could have had him for nowt.
