For that spell in 1988/89 they were absolutly awesome and you just know it wont be as good second time around. Without being over dramatic they were major players in an era of music and culture that still shapes music and culture today. The Stone Roses and The Happy Mondays and acid house and everything that goes with it, still plays a part in the music i listen to today. I would hate to think they are just doing this to pay off a hefty tax bill. Not going to watch the link by the way, it was painful enough 14 years ago.
