Although many have suggested Christos Karipidis, a suggestion I would not disagree with, I think it is obvious that other factors are taken into account when people vote in relation to the MOTM. A little bit of flair in one game tends to overshadow a generally decent all round performance in certain cases. No matter how you measure what determines player of the year, if Berra had been here all season, I think he would have been a shoe in again. (Nice to note another Wolves MoM at the weekend) For me it's between Karapidis' consistency and versatlility or Driver's ability to change games. 2NaFish Posted March 25, 2009 Share Posted March 25, 2009 wallace for me, but thats probably because he's had a settled position as opposed to eggy and kari who've been shifted about a lot. still, its great to have so many names in the running - a case could be made for 6 or 7 genuine contedners - when there were so few last year.
