And even then, it would need Aberdeen to win at Darkhead and h**s to beat the sticky buns at FR for this to be mathematically possible.

A good effort after last year's debacle!

we are already assured top 6

No we aren't. 3 games left before the split, we are 9 points clear of bottom 6, so it would depend on goal difference.

Dundee United V Hibs

Motherwell V Aberdeen

Hearts V Kilmarnock

Given that our 4 'rivals' for top 6 slots are playing each other in the next round of fixtures, it would take an incredible sequence of results for us not to make it now. Especially given Motherwell have Rangers away and Aberdeen are due at Parkhead.

Yes it is highly unlikely but highly unlikely is still arithmetically possible - so until we gain another point or motherwell or hibs drop points then we haven't made best six yet ....... :smash::sorcerer:

For us not to get into the top 6 requires the following:

We lose our 3 matches to the split:

Hibs and Motherwell both win their 3:

Aberdeen win their other 2 apart from the one with Motherwell:

Utd win at least 2 of their 3 games apart from the one with Hibs.

All the teams have a match against one of the Old Firm to play.
