Jambos were keen on the powerful Maritimo striker who has bagged 10 goals in the Portuguese League this season. Csaba Laszlo's scouts watched Diawara score a hat-trick against Vitoria Setubal last Sunday and have also requested DVD footage of the 21-year-old. But Maritimo have slapped a ?2.5million price tag on Diawara - just as Sporting Lisbon declared an interest in the player.
