Eckauskas
Same old lazy reporting. This story has been going around for years, ever since he was spotted at an airport with a Rangers top on.

jamboinglasgow
Apparantly. where did you hear that? Alan Smith is rangers Gary O'Conner, there is always rumours that he will join Rangers as apparntly he is a rangers fan. But if this is true then that probably means that it is part of a transfer deal, maybe means that barry the Crab and McGreogar are away to the 'toon. Buffalo Bill
Taking has-beens like Frances Jeffers on loan is the closest Rangers will ever get to the Premiership. They probably out-do just about every other team on Earth for throwing good money after bad. Buffalo Bill .

andrew
They've already got Boyd, Novo, Fleck, Naismith, Velicka and Miller. I would have thought a new centre half to replace Weir would be the priority.
Say What Again
As others have said, the Alan Smith to Rangers rumour comes up every deadline day. The Huns have a multitude of strikers already and also don't have a penny. Wouldn't surprise me if Smith makes ?50k a week, not a chance in hell Der Hun can afford that. It's also worth noting that this rumour was anonymously texted to the BBC transfer update page - no stories from agents, reporters, the player or the clubs.
