David Brent
When was the last time we were awarded a penalty in the league? Interestingly enough, it was today's referee who almost gave us a penalty against the sheep but changed his mind. We have had some unbelievably bad decisions by officials this season: * Our Manager was assaulted by the 4th Official when he tried to enter the field after a game * A linesman overrules a referees decision to award a penalty * 4th official sends off Mike Stewart for an off the ball incident that isn't picked up on the camera * Zaliukas is sent off for pulling back a player in an offside position * Nade's goal against the hobos at Easter road is overruled The most blatant display of incompetence by an official was Ian Brines performance at Pitoddrie. Ironically it may well have been Brines decision to reject Zaliukas appeal that may be a turning point in the officials relationship with our club. Brine's blatant disregard of all the video evidence and his sheer arrogance in refusing to accept his "mistake" may well have caused some dismay amongst the refereeing community. Perhaps the impartial, the fair minded, the referees with some integrity, have decided that they will not be tarred with the brines of an incompetent brush. We haven't had any seriously poor decisions against us since Brines last (hopefully) game in charge! Today a penalty decision was given in our favour by Steve Conroy; even his linesman agreed! Can this finally be the beginning of a normal relationship between HMFC and the SFA?
Greedy_Jambo
Its cos we've only one striker who isn't really a striker. There's no many oppertunities to go down in the box when youve no got many players in the box! nade spends most of his time on the wing trying to get a sniff of a supporters pie. The horny dawg! When I was at school "pie" was just one of many words for a lady?s sexy bits! It has been noticeable that the refs seem to have been more consistent and even-handed since Pittodrie, but it?s probably too soon to say it is a pattern or whether it will last... Don't be sorry, be happy! My bubbles definitely not burst! My point is that maybe the decent guys in the game have decided to keep the rotten crew in check. I hope that the wheel has turned for us.
