UnworthyPapaLazaru Posted January 20, 2009 Share Posted January 20, 2009 I have been having this problem for a while now, and it is related to downloadind and installing new problems. It is really ****ing me off. the problem is that after a download is comlete, and I'll use google Chrome as an example, it will finish and the go to a box which will say 'extracting files' at the bottom of the dialog box is the 'run' and 'open' buttons. These are greyed out and would usually become active once the file have finished extracting. The problem is that it never does finish, it just hangs there. If I cancel the operation it will do so ok. I then go to where the file location where it was downloded and the exe is usually there. When i click on this it will not run or open and just hangs again. can anyone this of a solution to this?
