Derek
Said this before many a time. This is not a defence of the actions he took and the mess he oversaw us getting in to, however .... Why did CPR buy in to the club ? He was a fan who didn't like the way things were going. His main problem in doing so was he spent all his money buying and had nowt left to back it up. I genuinely don't believe he did anything to deliberately harm the club. The collective actions of him and the Board over time got us into a mire which was getting close to pulling us under, but I would challenge anyone to say and back up that it was deliberate. Misguided, cack handed, call it what you will, but not deliberate. So what remains of CPR and his connection with the great HMFC ? So far as I know, he is merely an ex-Director/Chief Executive (or whatever titles he had) who has certain priviliges (sp?) which he is perfectly entitled to use. Let's face it, who wouldn't ? .... but there is one over-riding thing. As jamboinglasgow has mentioned, he is STILL A FAN. And as a fan, he has every right* to go to games and support the team he loves. As I said already, I will not defend a lot of his actions while in charge of the club as they took us perhaps to the brink ..... but I will defend his right to support the club he loves and attend games. * unless he is ASBO'd or legally barred etc ... Salvatori5
I have seen him at ground after ground over the past 2 or 3 seasons and it really gets on my t*ts. This season on the "Caley Club" bus to the ICT ground I asked George Foulkes who was with his Inverness MSP friend why Pieman kept turning up and he replied that he has thought long and hard about it and presumes that when selling his shares to Vlad he managed to include some sort of lifetime access clause which would save him from ever having to sit amongst the fans. Foulkes told me he would see if he was at the match that day and he was delighted to inform me on the return journey that the fat parasite was in the box at the match along with his missus! I broadly agree with this pretty courageous post - but would add into the mix his constant lies, especially in the Not Fit For Purpose document and all the nonsense that went with it. Robinson's biggest mistake was, arguably, not being in Romanov's league when it came to wealth - so he couldn't bail us out, and only Vlad could. I'll never feel anything other than contempt for CR's monumental incompetence; he's not Lucifer though.

Eldar Hadzimehmedovic
Vlad's always had him hanging around. He even chose him to head up the stadium plans in the early days. Some people questioned it back then but it was at the time when you weren't allowed to say anything bad about Romanov at all.

This is pretty much my view as well. The guy was incompetent but actually thought he was doing the best thing for the club. However, he was an arrogant sod and couldn't/wouldn't listen to anyone else's opinion. He was a Hearts fan before he took over and he still will be. As a figure of the past we should leave him as that.....look to the future!
Boris
Don't like him and wish he'd go away, however (at Tynecastle anyway) aren't all former Chairmen entitled to attend? They had a grudge between the two and Deans was able to get out early and then attack Robinson from the outside. I think its more telling that Deans continully attacked CPR but when things went bad with Romanov Deans kept quiet.
