Acey
We're not talking Casablanca, Scarface or Pulp Fiction here, people. We're talking Troll 2, House of the Dead and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians* Personally, my friends and I enjoy gathering to poke fun at 60s and 70s horror films; a recent favourite was Horror Hospital (starring Robin Asquith!). jamboj
Spider-man 3 must be worth a shout for this award. Two scenes especially: That bit where he swings down past a highly conviniently placed U.S flag and when he's at the funeral at the end saying "with great power comes great responsibility, my friend harry taught me that"..... Absolutely woeful movie. Also in the race must be, Cat-woman, Daredevil (ben affleck as the blind superhero), Deep impact and the Postman (Kevin Costner). All of which cost millions to make and were all absolutely horrendous.

Drew Busby !
"Four weddings and a funeral" may not have been the worst film ever made, but it spawned a whole clutch of cloned and increasingly awful London-centric upper middle class toff light-hearted whimsical romantic-comdey films. As a result I'd quite happily "do a Hitler" and incinerate all copies in existence of "Notting Hill", "Love actually", "Bridget Jones" etc etc There was another one on last night called "Imagine Me & You" which promised some lezza action but delivered sweet-FA other than the usual bunch of eccentric upper-middle class tossers poncing about London as usual (Primrose Hill this time)

Acey
I think there's quite a rich (yet relatively untapped) source of good movies out there; those with wrestlers in them. I'm pretty sure that Kane(?) did a horror film quite recently, and I'm saving "The Condemned" for a rainy day.

Jambojohnnyboy
Any Seagal movie. 'Marked for Death' is a recent favourite. Recently been introduced the seminal cinematic performances of 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper. This one- http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114706/ - also features the kick-ass talents of Billy Blanks. I saw this at the tail end of last year, defo one of those so bad it's good movies.

Maximus
Flash Gordon - Nuff said Old Joy - Crap film, I told the whole plot in one sentence on the review thread. So boring it's funny. Old Boy - Hilariously silly Z-movie with a ludicrous plot and terrible acting, if it was'nt Asian it would be down there with Troll 2 on the critic's rating lists. Undefeatable - see for yourselves

Moriarty
I know I have said it already, but I feel I must reiterate how amazingly bad Straight out of Compton is. Poundland DVD section at its best. Have many more where that came from! All stock piled for boring evenings viewing. Kickboxer was shockingly bad and yet cool as hell all at the same time. The dance scene is a classic of film.
neave
MST3K My mate loves that movie and I've never seen it. Carl Weathers
Acey, I think I'm the only person on earth to like the 1982 classic, 'The Boys in Blue', starring northern club circuit 'funny' duo 'Cannon and Ball'. "I piggin' hate you, Tommy". Buffalo Bill It gets 3.3/10 on IMdb so it can't be all bad. Interestingly enough, 30 people give it 10/10! Here's a brief review: This is a truly dreadful film, and must surely constitute great veteran film-maker Val Guest's darkest hour. Terrible predictable dialogue, inept clowning, utterly unfunny. Unfortunately comedy can never be so bad it transcends awfulness (unlike films not intended to be funny, most famously 'Plan 9 from Outer Space'), they either work or they don't. This one was moribund from the start. Even the great duo of Morecambe & Wise never had much success with this type of film project, so imagine the hash the distinctly third rate Cannon and Ball make of things. Unfortunately even the presence of the usually reliable Roy Kinnear can not save this.

Ulysses
There's a really awful sci-fi horror movie out there somewhere which as far as I can tell was about the good though somewhat dim people of a small American town being terrorised by a reeeeeeeaaaaallllly slow-moving giant duvet. Seriously. In some of the scenes this reeeeeeeaaaaallllly slow-moving giant duvet crawls along at the most appaaaaaaaalllllingly slow speed towards people who, instead of having the wit and wisdom to just walk away, stand there yelling and screaming until it catches up with them, crawls over them and (presumably) smothers them. For the life of me I cannot recall the name of the stupid movie.
Commander Harris
Starship troopers is without a doubt the greatest bad film ever. although it is deliberate on the director's part, especially the casting, so does that count?
269miles
4 Weddings and a Funeral takes some beating but it has taken some beating : I Am Legend - the opening scene where Will Smith seems to need to kill deer for food. But goes home to a city where they've had a killer virus for two years, he's the only guy still alive and his fridge is still full of edible food. Caligula - simply hysterical. Helen Mirren (she of the Oscar) must be cringeing about her appearance in that one. Apparently it was one big con : decent actors and actresses signed up not knowing about the porno angle and finding the film is interspersed with duff porn scenes. monkfish1979
The review "Nothing can prepare you for how truly rubbish this film is. Rubbish actors, rubbish script, rubbish camerawork. But it is because of this that you simply must see it. From the way some actors make random noises to the ending that seems to contradict everything in the film, this is a work of terrible genius." It really is that bad.

Stewart MacD
Any of the Gamera (giant flying turtle) films. Rambo - I refused to pay to go to see this as I heard all the good ole American audiences were standing up and cheering the "hero". Then I saw it on video in the local and ****ed myself laughing, it was so corny. Looking forward to the new one. I saw the trailer today, prior to the showing of "Sweeney Todd". Great performances there all round but I had to change my plans for lunch - I had intended having a beef and Guinness pie, washed down with more of the black stuff. I'm not sure when I'll eat a pie next.
