siegementality Posted December 12, 2008 Share Posted December 12, 2008 I don't know if this has been done before but I thought it would be interesting to have a timeline thread for the period in which Vladimir Romanov has been involved in Hearts. The thread can be added to, on a daily basis if need be, everytime something of note happens that affects the club. It would be best if we tried to keep the thread in order (it is the purpose of a timeline after all) and we could do without any personal remarks. Feel free to add links to newspaper articles, etc, which will add a bit more fact and interest to it all. A wee something for our kids to look back on in years to come. I'll start January 2005: Romanov is discussion with Hearts regarding a takeover. The time to complete this will be when 'the long haul' has been completed. I think this thread is more to do with your anti Vlad mentality, rather than caring about what our children look back on! When I look back on the 70/80s I remember watching very poor football in front of very poor crowds in a crumbling stadium! I also remember relegation and some terrible results against the Hibs! I do not remember winning any major trophies or having many players that were of international standard. But hey, why should I stop you having FUN?
