No-one has any PROOF or EVIDENCE that we will not be here in the new year so lets just support the team and get it up the other half of the ugly sisters. jambos are go!
You will never shut them up. jambovambo
Look. Hearts was never going to collapse because of a cr@p footballing side being put on the park. However, it looks increasingly likely that it will collapse because of financial mis-management off the park. So ... yep, I've very pleased we have won five games on the trot ... and long may it continue, starting this weekend. But if there is enough truth in the building body of reports that Hearts is a terminally ill patient, financially, then ... yeah, doom and gloom is appropriate. deejtee
Actually we have been near the end plenty times with crap teams and management. Remember we did not have any assets at one point. We know how near extinction we were under Robinson. We don't know how bad things are here or at other clubs which is a problem. Things are not however all bad so why not have a more positive post. all for it!

It has won five games on the trot. That's good. But with much much more debt than "the past", and on the brink of (allegedly) selling as many decent players as we can, to prop up that debt, or maybe even worse, forestall administration, apart from the five games on the trot, what is there to get positive about ? redm
I had my day of depression on Monday, but thankfully I recovered.... We're not going to go down the swanny, but we might lose a raft of decent players in January. The way I see it, we might as well try to enjoy it while we can and if we get through the transfer window and come out the other side with anything resembling a football team, it'll seem like a bonus. In a weird way...ahem... Anyway, we really should be putting our minds to more sneaky things like bombarding the decent (for decent read 'valuable') players with tokens of emotional blackmail...guilt them into staying or something.... We should all send Christmas cards. Hundreds of them. A festive season's greetings guilt trip for less than 40p. I think anyway...how much are stamps these days? Might not be enough to keep our players beyond January but it might help them get us 3 points against Utd.
Victorian
well done to all the other jambos on this thread who prefer to travel on the bus of positivity, instead of all the usual morose, defeatest and downright ill-informed ramblings about imminent armageddon. oh there's going to be an all-out 'fire sale' in january is there? source? oh we're going out of business within a year are we? source? that said, i'm sure it wont be too long until some of the resident 'deep thinkers', the JKB intelligentsia if you will, are along to 'prove' just how perilous the situation is. facts and figures please, or not interested. We've always had the team capable of beating the best of the rest in the league, we've just never had anyone in place to run it since Burley, but now that Csaba is here, he seems to be turning things around nicely. It's hard to believe that we were all calling for almost the entire team to be ditched only 2 or 3 months ago, and I hold my hand up and admit I was one of them, credit where it's due. jambonian
Don't really see a need for threads which just have a go at other posters. Agreed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion right or wrong. The run of five games has been a bit more positive yes and we should enjoy it while it lasts. One of the most positive things to come out of our current form has been the return of Bruno Aguiar, shame he'll probably be going sooner rather than later. Funny how we seem to spend vast amounts on getting a player fit again after a long time out only for him to be sold or moved on while he's on top form. It's things like this that p iz fans off just when we're having a decent bit of a run for the first time in donkeys. Sadly, the Doom & Gloom is never far away when it comes to Hearts.
