Anyone give me a wee review of it? Never heard of the book before and thought I might buy it for a Christmas present for the old yin. Cheers in advance.

I have never heard of said literature.

What is the name of the gentleman who penned such a highly regarded piece of prose?

I have seldom seen it mentioned on this internet address.

Never read that book. However, given your show off behaviour in 86 what can you expect. You weren't the only one suffering you know... :xmastongue:

A book about hope., 18 Nov 2008

By Rhona (Edinburgh) - See all my reviews

Even as someone who is not a hardcore Hearts fan, I enjoyed this book. It is a book about football, but more so, it's a book about hope. Hope that you will overcome adversity, hope that your team will come through for you and hope that your life will turn out right in the end. Some of it is very funny and some of it made me cry and I think it would be a perfect nostalgia trip for Hearts fans who grew up in the 70's - 90's.

I dunno. I don't think he needs the cash from the book given the double barrelled name. So folks, borrow it from the library and read it for free. If not, find it illegally on the internet.

I am almost certain that it is what Andrew-Henry Bowie would want you to do.
