He was in my sisters year at Gracemount, unbelievable talent he was, think it all went to his head though. Sandy Robertson was either in that year or the year above too. I remember him destroying Rangers in the youth cup final that Hearts won and breaking into the full team soon after. Got a horrible injury that he never fully recovered from and then got caught up in that famous incident with George O'Boyle when at St Johnstone. Back when the young players would stay with people in Edinburgh. Had a few problems with his dad etc. He's been at a few clubs since he left Hearts. Seems to have been a gradual decline down the divisions until the juniors. Another one for me is Stephen Simmons. I remember my dad telling me about him when he was only 14. Its actually a team called Glenafton (Glenavon are irish) who are a junior team in the west league. http://members.tripod.com/bob_newcumnock/glenafton/squad/index.html Even with attitude problems its amazing he has gone down that far as he did look up there with Naysmith when he played. Does look like a total jake though. Most of his teammates look like they are on weekend release, Joe Savage the one next to McMullan got sacked by a club last season for assaulting an opponent in the SFL. Kevin Thomas would have been a great player for probably many years if he hadn't picked up that horrible knee injury .I remember wincing when it happened.
