IMA MAROON
It is pretty obvious that Stewart has to come back into midfield for this one and with Wallace out I think we might put Ruben back in defence and drop Kingston and bring in Jonsson. It is going to be a battle. MacDonald Neilson, Big Zal, Berra, RubenJonsson, Stewart, Kari, DriverBrunoNade.

Malcolm Tucker
Brown has not had a mention and i think he will go with experienced players. I agree entirely. We can but hope though? That's the team I'd like to see, I think we'll see... Balogh Neilson Zaliukas Berra Obua Kingston Karipidis Stewart Driver BrunoNade
ScottishSandstorm
I see Neilson, Berra, Zaliukas, Kingston, Karipidis, Driver, Bruno, and Nade keeping their places with ease. The other three spots will probably come down to how training goes this week. Brown/Obua/Jonsson/Palazuelos fighting for LB, Kello/Balough/McD for GK, and Jonsson/Palazuelos/Stewart fighting for the other midfield spot. No idea who wins out. I will take a guess and say MacDonald, Obua, and Stewart.

IMA MAROON
Obvious? Why? Ruben and Kari are great if we are sitting in against quality side but Motherwell?
leginten
I think a lot of reasonable options have been mentioned so far which don't include Stewart. My gut instinct is that the guys (including subs) who've taken maximum points from five games in a row should be given the nod and that Stewart should be brought on if and when we're struggling. JamboJen
Regardless of how Motherwell have been playing recently, they have the ability to be one of the best passing teams in the League. Stewart's own idiocy lost him his position in the team and without him the midfield has been excellent. The only change I think we should make for Motherwell is the one we have to - left back. I'd go with: MacDonald Neilson - Zaluikas - Berra - Jonsson Kingston - Karipidis - Palazuelos - Driver Aguiar Nade Subs: Kello; McGowan; Brown; Stewart; Templeton; Chesnauskis; Obua

alex plode
This board is all about opinions but I cant for the life of me understand why anyone would put David Obua in their starting XI at left back. In the games he has played, in fairness not many, he has done nothing and looks a disaster waiting to happen! For me the team should be : McDonald Neilson Berra © Zali Jonnson Karapidis Kingston Aguiar Ruben Driver Nade
Coco
Balogh Neilson Zaliukas Berra Jonsson Karipidis Palazuelos Kingston Aguiar Driver Nade Despite my concerns about Jonsson playing on his wrong side, I think that is probably the right option. I haven't seen any of the youth team left backs, but it is now obvious what a disaster the decision not to replace Goncalves was. Is the ground at Motherwell a mudpit this year? Perhaps if it is a longer game would be more sensible with Mole and Nade up front with one of the daintier midfielders dropping out.
