What squad number would you choose..

If you had just signed for the famous and was asked to pick a squad number for yourself, however all numbers between 1 and 11 (inclusive) were already taken, what number would you choose and why?

I'd choose 33 as it's the bus I used to get in town when I lived at home with my folks.

16- I've just always liked he number, not sure where it came from.

I've worn 16 a few times at Tynecastle and been lucky enough to score a few goals in charity matches etc.

28.

Julien Brellier wore this number in my first season at Tynecastle, he was my favourite player at the time. I always have 28 in roulette as well, I just like the number.

Malcolm Tucker

17.

EDIT: Because I scored a hat-trick at Tynecastle with 17 on my back :D Also it's just a good number.

Sergio Garcia

Probably 16, birthday.

What part of "what number would you like but you cant take any number between 1 and 11 inclusive" do some ppl not understand!!!

Please note i am tired and going through work emails after a heavy weekend partying and caravaning, hence my much lower tolerance to being annoyed!!!

I need my bed i feel!

5 - I'd play at the base of the diamond, and fill in at RB, CB or LB, so 5.

Sadly, I was never any ****ing good.

Mind you...that never stopped 'Benny' Brazil playing professional football!

Maybe I should have stuck in!

Oh and I did read the op but I'll never play at a level where squad numbers are required!

14 - the number of my birthday, and also the number I was for a couple of very poor seasons of boys club football many years ago.

I'm not good enough and too old now to be a pro-footballer anymore so i guess my squad number would have to be 1902
