Yep, he came out and did well with quite a few crosses yesterday but like I say, he was posted missing, IMO, at the goal. Having said that, he'll probably never have a quieter game against one of the bigot bros for the rest of his career. probably true. mostly due to the tremendous efforts of berra, zali, wallace, neilson and karipidis. rangers should really have cottoned on early doors that they weren't going to get any joy in the air and that they should have kept it on the deck. i was expecting ferguson and mendes to over-run the midfield but it never turned out that way. the whole team put in a great shift to be fair. I have yet to see a single shread of evidence that Vladimir Romanov has been involved in any team selection this season. Still, it seems the team being picked on merit by the manager is not enough to convince some to return, apparently 'assurances' are required before they will do so. He obviously wanted to go to a conventional 4 in midfield by putting a right mid at right mid, so a centre mid had to come off. Leaving Karipidis and Ruben on made sense to help keep it tight as our backs where against the walls. Chesney gave us the option of giving the ball to a runner to take some off the pressure off. We've been pretty fortunate over the years with good keepers...the current 3 aren't in the same class as Neimi, Gordon, Rouset unfortunately... Mind you...I forgot Tepi....Yikes!
