Dr Ian Malcolm
Watching Driver today as a possible U21 cap. 2nd half goal wouldn't do any harm.

vegas-voss
What an acheievement it would be for Driver and the Hearts coaching staff to have Driver earn an U-21 cap.It is not everyday an SPL side has a player noticed by England U-21 especially with the young talent down south in the likes of Villa's team to name but one. Dirk Diggler
Didn't think he was at his best today. His decision making needs to be improved, would be surprised but happy if he did get the call up.

His effort and work rate was good though which is a good sign as most wingers who are having an off game just tend to hide.

Agreed. I think to warrant a game for England under 21s you need to show more than effort and work rate though. You never know I suppose, but I don't think Pearce will have left today all that impressed. Shame as well, because he is capable of so much more. 3inaBednar
Jack Cork, Southampton (Loan from Chelsea),Fabian Delph,Leeds United Adam Johnson,Middlesbrough,Michael Kightly, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aaron Lennon, Tottenham Hotspur,Fabrice Muamba,Bolton Wanderers,Jamie O'Hara,Tottenham Hotspur. Given the above players this thread is a bit silly, look at the clubs the current midfielders play for! nice though but never going to happen. Coco
does anybody have any idea why alex ferguson was at the game today who has he got his eye on Can't think that if he was looking at players it would be anyone other than Ferguson or Mendes. Nobody else in either squad even remotely close to top Premiership side ability. Neither impressed today though. Maybe he just wanted to see a game.
