Anton Ferdinand reputedly moved to Sunderland for eight million pounds, so perhaps the figure being mooted for Berra is fair, or perhaps it is less than he is worth. Victorian Posted November 28, 2008 Share Posted November 28, 2008 I'd take £3M for Berra!! it seems like good money for an SPL defender right enough but i imagine vlad will fancy himself to play hard ball and 'do a gordon' again. one of his major plus points was that sale. and why not? hibs did very well to make the money they got for the likes of brown, whittaker, thomson etc. we shouldn't necessarily go back to the pieman days of selling off players for ?1-2M.
