King of the North Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I realise most people here will be watching the Celtic game, as it is on ITV in Scotland, but down here it's Villareal v Man U. Wayne Rooney has produced two of the most outrageous dives you will ever see, neither of which resulted in a free kick or pen, but neither of which resulted in a booking either. I'll bear it in mind next time Engerland are in a major tournament and Lawrenson starts banging on about cheating foreigners.... Can't be doing with the xenophobic myth that diving is an affliction peculiar to the 'foreigners' in the game....
