Wondered the same thing myself everything seems to be free with them.Must be through advertisement and things maybe every time you click a link they make cash.

With regards to Bill Gates - he donates a fair whack of cash to charity. Also I think Gates children (3 of them) only(!) get $10m inheritance the rest goes to charity etc.

TBF as much as i hate microsoft, and we all do, gates does do alot for charity so credit where credit is due.
