Apart from Laszlo who can speak on team matters, there's no one around to shed light on our future as a club. Plonker is our chairman, (isn't he ?), but hasn't been seen in ages, so who does that leave with the authority to make public announcements and policy statements ? The speculation of the new stand and possible transfer targets for January should be clarified. I think the fans deserve this at the very least. What light do you want shed? Policy statements are made to shareholders and contained in the Annual Report while other announcements are made on the official site if and when there is something worthwhile to report. As regards possible transfer targets it would be silly, even a breach of etiqette, to announce that we are after (say) Easton of Hamilton as that may unsettle the player and also alert other clubs like (say) Rangers and up goes the price we'd eventually have to pay. Well I'm sorry but I have no idea I reckon Campbell Ogilvie is widely regarded as the 'acceptable' face of HMFC but don't believe he's keen on being a front man. Every day there was a positive story coming out of Tyney. When was the last time that happened? (Just as bored as we are going by recent crowds). He pulled Rodney months/a year ago and I feel he doesn't trust ANYONE to speak on his behalf. If he screws up badly the bird with the Lith/Scottish double barreled name will attempt to bail him out in her own Comical Ali stylee. Apart from that expect the silence to continue. I'll ask again, what is it you want to know that is generally available to other clubs' supporters? You say the shareholders' meeting is veiled in allegory. Such as why is there a 3.85M payment for buying players during a period when we didn't sign anyone. Answer from the Chairman to the shareholders - I don't know and it's none of your business anyway.
