If the London media can keep the spin going that Brown is not the cause of, but the solution to the woeful U.K. economic performance, put your money on march. If everything rallied until a Spring election Brown could claim victory on the financial stuff, and may just blag his way back in. The People's Chimp Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 If he does go for an early election, something which may be the sensible option for labour, then spring, as was stated above, would seem the most likely. It's a big gamble for him, but the tories have floundered over this, the nats have perhaps shown themselves to be the pretenders they really are, the LDs have been nowhere and maybe it would be the right time for Brown.
