Victorian
after the hobos vs sheep match, the divots gordon and paterson basically said (in a not too disguised way) that the aberdeen player should have gone down looking for a penalty late in the game instead of keeping his footing and attempting to score. they seemed to come to this conclusion for the reason that the hobos sclaffed an equaliser in late on. so.... again we have confirmation that it's ok for some players to go to ground when they have been impeded, but it's panto villian time when it's public enemy no1. it would be comical if it wasn't so fekin annoying. In fairness they said the same about Driver a few weeks ago, although I think Driver scored with that chance. They said Aluko was honest in staying up, but he had an excellent chance and should have scored. If he got the penalty and the Dons missed it he would have looked foolish. Gershwin
Should the referee not have given the foul anyway? Why does Aluko have to go down? Surely Aluko lost any advantage he had as the foul caused him to lose his balance. However, seeing as it's Aberdeen - Get it up yous.

CBjambo
Talking of 'divers' ahem.... I saw Miko going into his flat in the quatermile at lunchtime today... still on crutches and looking a little uncomfortable... had a strange baldy looking dude with him! Thig Ar Latha
Also, when asked about a possible penalty to Inverness at the end of the first half, Paterson said it was never a penalty. Wallace's challenge was strong, but fair. Out side the box anyway.

That will be they guy who sits in the pub and takes a call from Vlad when he has decided on the team. Just making sure Miko will play if told. Thig Ar Latha
Like the one during the Hamilton v Celtic game No. The Hamilton one was more like the one in the Hearts Celtic match a couple of weeks ago.

Das Root
I quite liked in the mhanks game where they discussed the "penalty". Eejit 1 - obviously not a penalty, ref was unsighted, it's a shame the linesman wasn't there to give him a hand, he had a great view. Eejit 2 - erm, it was the linesman who awarded the penalty. Eejit 1 - ah, well, yes, er it was a well taken penalty. About as good as when Nevin commented on the Caldwell "goal" against us, mentioned it was a handball and then finished with "well taken if not scrappy goal". Surely that should be "not a goal, cheating ***** barsteward"?
