As an additional fundraiser for the 2009 Edinburgh Charity Game, I am organising a Golf Day at Prestonfield Golf Club. The idea is for people to bid to have a round of golf with famous ex Jambos. On the day yourself and the ex player would be up against an ex Hibs player and a fan in a fourball. Hoping to get at least 8 players involved so we can have 4 fourballs. Anyone interested? A lot depends on dates & moolah. Also, you're talking a grudge match here against the Hibs and I'd be very nervous about letting the side down - are you after single figure h'cappers? We tell the Hobos that it's a 5 club challenge but amend that with an email to all at 10:15 on 2nd April It's off the medal stones unless you're fully be-decked in maroon The 'greens' are re-named 'maroons' for the day Risky one here but one set of players gives the other a number of strokes determined not by handicap but by the points difference between our two teams on the day. i.e. if HMFC lead the Hibs by 15 points, each of our players receives an allowance of 15 strokes.
