Nade the fat student!

Not sure if anyone else has seen this but it's up on the BBC rumours section:

"When he arrived at Tynecastle, Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo thought Jambos striker Christian Nade was a "fat student" who had turned up to watch the club train. (Daily Record) "

It's nice to see he wasn't alone!

Do people think Nade has progressed under Laslo? If so whats different about him now to how he was before?

Morning,

where have you been these last 3 months?!

it ain't a rumor,Nade deliberate came back for pre season fatter to get sacked from the club as he lost his passion for the game.

shbba has reshaped & revitalized him into a new fitter player.

hopefully this will be the 1st goal of many to come.

You've changed your tune. In the other Nade threads you were tearing the boy a new one. Whats made you change your feelings?

It's funny having looked at the responses here i.e. "Where have you been" "What an Old Story" etc and people wonder why there are less people posting on here/visiting the site (and before the statistics get posted I know it's just as popular as always).

I suppose my point is why are people so negative/quick to criticise when people try and get some banter going....

It's just a Kickback special laugh thing when you post some old news mate. As coyrighted by Peeblesjambo (hence the Peebles references

Fair enough.

It just comes across as petty and clique-ish to those that aren't so used to it.

I wasn't involved in the original thread (bad old dial up days!) and for some reason it isn't in Classic Kickback (hint hint mods) but it was quite a funny thread and stayed near the front page for quite a while afterwards

It may seem cliquey but it is just standard response for any old news reported and from my experience is more banter than picking out the poster

Im from Peebles, what, why, what??? what does that mean?

It's a wee joke on jkb reserved for folk that are considered a little bit "behind the times" with current events.

Very few things that will ever affect you, ever in your life, will be absolutely perfect, 100% of the time.

For you to expect it of a footballer, simply because you have a season ticket, is ludicrous.

So you don't want him to be "flawless" then, you just want him to play well, have a few shots and maybe even a goal?

That's fair enough, and much more realistic. And I agree with you.

aye.

still we should expect better this season already.

do you agree?

I do yes, although we're not doing too badly. I think we'll struggle to finish above Dundee Utd this season, so fourth is probably the best we can expect. I would still hope for third though.

But it still makes loads of us smile at the thought of it so don't be too harsh. :):)
