The Brow
Not so much the cds but the foreign dvds are stupidly inexpensive. Tons of great films for ?6-?10. I always go in for a wander and come out with about ?30 worth of stuff. Nae wonder they went bust! Dig Lazarus is a bargain for ?5 tho. Good find! Carl Weathers
I used to buy records from the shop on cockburn street all the time. Spent hundreds over the years. Pretty much only buy singles digitally now or cd's from the 'net. I also only rent dvd's.

I tend to restrict myself to a maximum of three CDs, but of course this entails an agonising process of elimination which extends my stay in the shop by at least half an hour. Foreign language DVDs great too.
Alan_R
Never liked fopp for the cd's much. Their Metal section (not that I like metal at all but all rock music tends to get lumped there) was always quite poor, maybe I just have to obscure a taste in music. Picked up some good dvds there though. Where is there a fopp store now? I thought they all closed down? Avalanche on cockburn street is the best for cds and vinyls. Wattie
I only allow myself to go to Fopp once a month (unless gift shopping etc.) and a budget of ?25, normally the weekend after payday. It's a dangerous shop for me. Could easily spend ?100 a month in there. Between CDs, DVDs, t-shirts..
Tams bird
I bought the dvd ' I spit on your grave' as was banned when I was young. Still in the wrapper

Adi Dassler
Fopp is perhaps the best thing ever to come out of western civilisation. The Wheel can jog on.
