Zaliukas - 4 - Absolute liabilty. Could of caused us a few goals tonight. Berra - 7 - Led like a captain should, by example. Cleared everything that came to him, positionally spot on. Jonsson - 7 - Good game, looks comfortable at RB, bombs forward to support, gets back in time too, and also not bad in the air. Obua - 5 - Not convinced with him tbh. Definately NOT a winger, doesnt run alot, cant use his right foot, drifts in too often. Palazuelos - 4 - Had a shocker tbh. Posted missing too often, stray passes and was too slow to react to 50-50 balls. Karipidis - 5 - Only one more than Ruben because I can remember Kari getting involved at least. Still we need to sort out this midfield. Driver - 6 - Good first half, getting to the bye-line. Was absent in the second half. Mainly because we couldnt get the ball anywhere past our half way line Aguir - 6 - Good game. Nice little flick on for the goal, got involved. Seemed to go down alot after challenges and moans a little too much instead of getting on with it. Nade - 9 - Superb performance.Won everything in the air, skinned their players a few times, a few decent shots and a goal. Easy MOTM. If he keeps playing like this we are on to a winner. Jonsson - 5 very poor distribution - gives his all Zal - 5 took a bad knock and did well to recover though a bit shaky Wallace 6 steady enough Obua - poor, hated his dead fly when he took a knock - green boots MUST go! Pala - 4 below par in every dept Kara - 5 couple of fine tackles, offers nowt going forward - NOT a midfielder. Driver - 5 cannot seem to beat a man, needs to show more, has great pace but doesn't use it enough. Aguiar -6 covered every blade, pushed on as much as he could. Nade - 7.5 getting better every game, tweaked his hammy and we stopped playing Robbie -3 NOT a midfielder. Mole - 0 that's precisely what he contributes fans - 2 despite early goal we were very quiet Csaba - 4 bizarre substitutions, too many being played out of position, PLEASE try templeton, glen ANYONE up front - mole does NOThave it!!! But he does at least ONE thing in the game that could cause a goal. Nearly gave away a penalty as well. Theres blocking the ball, then theres decking a player. Not that much to do Jonnson 8 - Only one to show any urgency. Tried to get it going but had little support Wallace 6 - Better in first half. Anonymous the second. Zaliukas & Berra 7 - Both solid enough but someone has to tell Zali he IS NOT Pele. Other than that OK Obua 5 - Not convinced at all. His brain seems sharper than his body. Needs to relearn the basics. Karapidas 6 - I'm one of his few fans at centre mid but looked lost tonight. His awareness of whats around him is very suspect Ruben 6 - Didnt know whether to stay or go on. Dont think Csaba is a big fan. His mind wont have been changed tonight Aguair 7 - Tried but had very little going on around him. Played most of game on Nade's shoulder but that isnt his strong point. Surely Ruben or Kara could have been sacrificed for him. Driver 6 - Didnt look fit. Looked slightly better when he switched wing but didnt give us nearly enough. Very little threat. Nade 7 - Did his best to miss when he scored. Almost scored lying on his arse then ballooned one over when he should have scored. I only hope he was injured when taken off because he did well up until then Nielson 3 - One swallow doesnt make a summer. Reverted to type tonight Mole 1 - He isnt the answer. In fact i'm not sure he's even the question. Why not give Templeton a run? Dougie McDonald - The wee yellow thing in your pocket mate is to show to people who make bad challenges. Try using it. As ever, not corrupt, just incompetent We are winning ugly right now. Very very ugly. Far too defensive a team selection tonight. We MUST buy at least 3 attacking players in the winter. Jonsson - 5 - some lapses in concentration. Zal - 6.5 - thought he was okay tonight. Wallace 6 - not too bad in first 70 mins but opted for hoofball in last 20. Obua - 2 - bone idle. Too often caught ball watching. Pala - 5 - was totally off pace when normally he is good at getting ball on deck Kara - 5 - very average at best Driver - 5 - average Aguiar - 7 worked hard and looked like he genuinely cared Nade - 8 - great workrate - was up and down the pitch - looks like a different player Robbie - 3 - I realised I'd been wearing rose tinted specs once Robbie had a few touches Mole - 1 - not interested - didn't win one ball either Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CalMac Posted November 12, 2008 Share Posted November 12, 2008 Balogh - 6 ok, bit iffy at times but not much to do Eggert - 8 impressive & committed Wallace - 6 average Berra - 8 very solid Zal - 7 battled hard & did well to recover from heavy knock Obua - 3 he will never make it in the SPL, way way way too lightweight Ruben - 5 very average Kara - 4 worse than average! he's not good enough to play midfield, enough Bruno - 4 wasted playing off the front - play in midfield Driver - 5 not a going day Nade - 8 much better & nice to see him score - hopefully he stays fit & confident Subs Robbie - 5 Mole - 2 doesn't deserve to be booed on but basically p**h All in all, we were truly woeful & IMO were lucky to win. Hanging on for 35 mins at home v Hamilton shows how poor we are. Too many lightweights & average players in the side - Ruben, Obua, Kara, Wallace. It shows how crap the SPL is that we are 4th. Jonsson 5 - Like him at right back, but a bit of a mare tonight. Berra 7 - Dealt with everything well. Zaliukas 8 - Won everthing in the air and made a few key tackles Wallace 6 - Very quiet for an attacking full back but solid defensively. Karipidis 6 - Played his position without two much problems but very quiet. Driver 6 - Csaba's right, needs to know how good he is at times. In games like this he must get on the ball more. Palazuelos 6 - Was he playing in the second half. Obua 6 - Looks uncomfortable on the wing but didn't do too bad when the ball came his way. Aguiar 7 - More quiet than he should have been but had a good game overall. Nade 9 - Great skill, work rate (for him), strength and HE'S A FORWARD WHO ****ING SCORED!!!!!! MoTM Subs Neilson 5 - Away in a gritty game at St. Mirren, I can understand. Home to Hamilton, no way. Mole 5 - Seriously, what does he do? Better than Kello but jury is out Jonsson 7 - defence is his position Berra 7 - solid Zaliukas 5 - not as good as he thinks he is Wallace 5 - capable of more Karapidis 6 - effective but want to see him at centre half with Berra Driver 5 - good first half Palazuelos - 5 better suited to Karapidis role. But Karapidis does it better Bruno 7 - never stopped trying. Some nice touches. Obua 5 - doesn't look fit. Needs time to settle. Nade 8 - best game for Hearts. Great skills and hold up play. Hopefully not a bad injury. Kicking is awful and takes forever to decide where to kick it to and then tries to hoof it up to Nade. I think he would concede goals if the defence were weaker. Berra & Zal 7 - Solid performances from both. Great clearance from Zal when it looked like a sure goal. They had a lot of work to do in the 2nd half because we lost the midfield. Jonsson and Wallace - 6 Early attempts to play football by these two were nullified by lack of support from Obua/Driver. Both ended up hoofing the ball all over the place. Driver 5 -Did nothing on the right. Swapped to the left after 25 minutes where he at least tried but without any success. Obua 3 - Pedestrian. Never linked up with the backs at any time. Didn't attempt to make space off the ball or get forward. Swapped to the left after 25 minutes where he caught a cold hanging about watching the game. Ruben 4 - Csaba thinks he is too similar in style to MS. You got that wrong. He is not an attacking player, lost out on every 50/50, misplaced every pass and his positional sense is woeful. Karapidis 5 - Marginally better than Ruben, but that's not saying much. Bruno 7 - Only influential midfield player. Piece of magic lead to Nades goal. Can't do everything alone and he became frustrated in the 2nd half. Nade 8 - MOTM. Immense performance. Great goal and if he'd scored from his "bicycle kick" it would have been the goal of the season. Looked to have been injured from a terrible challenge and sadly subbed after 60 minutes. We won this match due to Nade's individual performance. It could easily have been a draw or a loss without him. Csaba should sit them down and show them the video of Arsenal kids. Our movement off the ball was a disgrace. PS Zaliukas was better than Berra last night, not over the season but last night. Won all the headers that came his way and did his job. Is it just me or does Berra never look comfortable? He always looks under pressure when challenging in the air. Took his goal well, unlucky not to score another in the first half. Some of his ball control was magic. Neilson 6 - after his usual misplaced pass went on to have a solid game. Couple of good tackles and really should be captain as he was the only one trying to get the team going Moal 2 - seen him in the reserves and he seems to have something.
