Victorian Posted November 9, 2008 Share Posted November 9, 2008 are some SPL managers attempting to take advantage of the present climate of referees and other officials seemingly applying a different set of rules to hearts than to everyone else? do some SPL managers instruct their players to shout and scream and jump up and down as much as possible, as well as trying to rile certain players? i think they might just be doing this, to a certain extent. case 1. a match at pitoddrie last season. mikoliunas is clearly fouled inside the penalty area, no penalty awarded. mikoliunas then surrounded by a gaggle of cheating aberdeen half-wits (diamond and langfield) who con the referee into booking miko. case 2. the match at ibrox earlier this season. cheating bassa kirk broadfoot falls over in an open space in order to con the referee into awarding a free kick in a dangerous area. sasa papac also clearly fouls mikoliunas who is unsurprisingly booked by the same cheating bassa of a referee. case 3. the match yesterday. by all accounts, gus mcpherson manages to get a 4th official to intervene to bring an incident to the attention of the referee, resulting in stewart being sent off. this being the first case that anyone can remember when a 4th official has done this. Guest juvehearts Posted November 9, 2008 Share Posted November 9, 2008 Dont Just Include Hearts here Victorian. dundee United are getting a raw deal when playing the OF and Yogi Hughes expelled his disgust of new referee's being handed their 1st SPl game always invloves his team. not just hearts, but it is just hearts that are most vocal in recent seasons.
