Guest Roop
I'm not certain how people will react to this but wouldn't it be a nice touch to get that going as part of our songbook? It's a decent tune for a poem and would sound brilliant. It's the one major part of our history we don't really have a song about. Genuine suggestion. Crap link to the song. In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. EDIT - I'm sure some of our more vocal support could, at the very least, get the chorus going.
Incompetnce
Nice sentiment and thought but personally I can't see it happening.
Francis Albert
It would be appallingly disrespectful to use this as a football chant.

It's for all who died, not just a team from Edinbugh.
