jambo_jim
Looking for a bit advice from people in the know. Got a bambino whose about six months old so we ordered a pram over the internet from a company called two left feet. After a lot of mucking about it turns out they never had the pram in stock yet still processed the credit card payment of about ?270. In an attempt to get the money refunded we?ve e-mailed their after sales team (this is apparently the only way to contact them) and called their sales team who refuse to deal with our call as they only ?do sales?. I think the next step is to contact the Credit Card company and maybe get some advice from the CAB. Has anybody else had experience of this sort of thing or maybe knows of a better way to get it resolved. Cheers for any help.
Sexton Hardcastle
270 sheets for a pram. I could waste that sort of money in so many ways.
slashishere
Most transactons over ?100 are covered on a credit card, good for booking hols etc if the airline goes bust for example. Not sure about this as it just sounds like poor service more than anything else, If they are in breach of contract then the bank may help out? Worth phoning them anyway! chumpsteak
you should dispute the transaction with your credit card company. print out your email correspondence as supporting evidence and send that in with your dispute. there might be information on the back of your statement on how do raise a dispute, otherwise just call your credit card company and they will be able to tell you what is required.
