Jambo in Yorkshire
The new rankings put us in 101st place while our rivals languish outside the top 160 teams! The bad news is that our best 2 co-efficient years will be removed next year and the year after We are ranked above CSKA Sofia, Red Star Belgrade, Brondby and Borussia Dortmund This is the the link http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/ See Team Ranking 2008 with 20%
Jambo in Yorkshire
If we are 4th in the SPL this season we will enter the Europa Cup in the 2nd qualifying round - if we finish 3rd we will enter in the 3rd qualifying round - we would have to get through 2 or 3 rounds to get to the group stages Games in Q2/Q3/Q4 would be based on co-efficients so we would be seeded in Q2 and maybe Q3 Confused? it's all very straightforward!!! Is there a 4th qualifying round before the groups?? Or is this a new thing for next season thought there were usually only 3 rounds then groups? Groatallar
Is there a table for playing with flair, or alternatively teams that were first to wear the green? :107years:
Therapist
That website has been very wrong in the past. Take anything it says with a pinch of salt. Anyway, rankings are ridiculous as has been proven by the Scottish national team's top-20 FIFA ranking. Everyone knows that the filthy Leith junior-sellik would rank at least 1,000 places below us. Whilst I agree with your numerical analysis, I fear that if you become any more one-dimensional you'll become invisible side on.
Jambo in Yorkshire
There are 4 qualifying rounds before the group stage - use the link to see where the teams from each country enter the competition Remember its the league position or cup that determines which round a club enters the competition Once in the competition it's the co-efficient that matters for the seeding in each round
Heartbeat
surprised to see how far we are behind in seasons in Europe. Knew we would be mile behind the bigot bros (44 & 48) but also behind sheep (27) and United (23) and only = with hobos on 18. 18 seasons from 49 is not that great IMO although maybe our greatest times in the 50s are largely missed as we didnt start til 59 while hobos were 56. Only about 37% of years available in Europe since first time in is not great
