Louise
I would be mortified if my manager saw some of the stuff on my bebo. In fact a lot of folk I work with are on it so you do have to watch yourself.

neilnunb
I got a warning a wee while back for using Facebook at work too much. Then a few weeks ago they decided to block access to it altogether. Just this week access has been reinstated and a new set on Internet Usage Guidelines drawn up.....funnily enough, our Head of IT has just created a Facebook account himself. Ray Winstone
I shut my Bebo account down owing to the fact I never used it and also employers etc do tend to check it these days. Facebook is fine as long as you keep your profile private and make sure your mates dont set you up to look like a bell end.

Art Vanderlay
I wouldn't be surprised if employers quite often check out applicants' facebooks... there is the story of the guy who lost out on a job because his profile specified "enjoys: smoking blunts with da homeys".
