argyjambo
I've not long finished reading the book. It was ok not a patch on pigs though. For the record I thought he handled the hearts content pretty well, & in a non-judgemental way. It was a recurring theme in the book of the Scottish polisman's love of the Jambos, & in its context I saw no evidence of any anti-Hearts bias in welsh's book. Just because the guy is a confirmed Hibbie, I see no reason to decry him for anti-hearts bias in this book, as there is none.

Establishment character (probably a wrong 'un as he is a copper?) supports Hearts - jeez Irvine, that's a new trick of yours. The common theme running through all of Welsh's scribblings is his hatred of Heart of Midlothian Football Club (PLC! )
