Geoff Kilpatrick
Kello - Jonsson, Zaliukas, Berra, Wallace - Mikoliunas, Kingston, Stewart, Aguiar, Driver - Nade Subs: Balogh, Thomson, Karipidis, Rapnik, Palazuelos, Mole, Tullberg/Glen Yep, I'd go 4-5-1 and tell Miko and Driver to push right up on their rubbish full-backs. By stifling the centre of midfield, it'll make them HOOF the ball towards Nish, which won't suit Ratboy or Fletcher.
Le Chat
My prediction: Kello Jonsson Berra Zaliukas Wallace Kingston Karapidis Stewart Mikoliunas Aguiar (in the 'hole') Mole. A team set up with not losing as their priority rather than going down there and giving the barstards it tight. PS. JF -

Exactly the same team and formation id go for except id maybe put Tullberg in at the start instead of Nade. Tullberg is good in the air from the brief glimps we got of him, i think he could be knocking the balls down to driver, miko and kingston or aguiar. Nade would be a good shout to come on early in second half if things are not working well that way.

He's shocking, and I personally believe I could rip him to shreds, and I ain't a left winger. Maybe a case for Zali in front of Karipidis as well. Other than that I'd be happy if that team took to the pitch.

I do feel that a solid midfield three of Jonsson, Stewart and Palazuelos would be a matchwinning midfield. Our full backs are not good enough, I have simply picked him as I feel it is not the right game to blood a youngster. As for Zaliukas, I really don't rate the boy at all. For me, and many probably won't agree, new full-backs are more important than a new striker. Wallace doesn't care, and Thomson doesn't cut it. I think, if I were to make amendments to your team there, I'd push Karipidis into midfield, stick Zaliukas at centre half and persist with Eggert at RB for the time being. It is all about opinions though! Zaliukas is Hearts' own version of Marmite unfortunately.

Malcolm Tucker
It's not that Wallace doesn't care, he just absolutely zero confidence right now. Look at him on the pitch, he's desperate not to get the ball to feet. Maybe the return of Driver could help him, but he's a liability while he's playing so poorly. Oh aye, and Big 'Kaiser' Zal is the man. Again man, it is all about perspectives. To me, it looks as if Wallace just doesn't want to be there, and that he doesn't give a flying. Zaliukas is thee man. Johanes de Silentio
Csaba is talking about playing Jason Thomson at RB and pushing Eggert Jonnson into midfield (on the right maybe?) which could mean this: ---------------Kello Thomson Berra Zaliukas Wallace ---------------Karipidis Jonsson Stewart Miko -------Kingston --------------Nade (or Mole) [in the absence of Tullberg!] Unless anyone's been injured on international duty? Graham Thomson
Kello Karapidas Berra Zal Wallace Miko Stewart Johnson Driver Bruno Nade if we go into the game not to lose, we will get pasted, we are poor at both full back positions, thats why i would bring Karipidas back, get Jonson back in midfield where he belongs, if he insists with one up front, at least play a quality player in the hole, but somehow i fear more of the same from Chaba, he seems to spend all week talking about tactics and football, then gives us same old same old, play the best players, the ones who wil try, get the ball on the deck and play football. I would play Karipidis in the middle of the defence instead of Zaliukas for this game. I think we need players who can stay on their feet in and around the penalty box, and not liable to grab a handful of jersey.
