Looks a proper mans dug B W T, I'd rather be it's friend than an enemy.

Bet it turns out to be a big soft lump though.

I miss not having a dog now.

Doug, humans are animals, so you'd need to waste yourself after wasting them.

Is it really worth it?

Boxers are the damage.

They're generally soft as sho!te and thick as mince but there's something quite loveable about them.

A good choice, and a good place to get one from.

What I cant understand is that he'd have cost his previous owners upwards of ?1200 (he's a pedigree Dogue De Bordeaux, same as the mutt from Turner and Hooch)

Why would you spend all that money then not look after him?

Sadly, and i dont include yourself in this, it's usually bams who own dogs like this as a status and for their own self protection.

By the way how do you cope with its siliva production.

Am i missing something here, or am i daft.

But it aint no boxer.

The only bell that he will hear ringing is the sound of a cash register if he puts out to stud.

Fair point :P

Still, it doesn't exactly look very threatening.

Thats a cracking beast.

It looks like its got some neopolitan mastiff in it? or it could just be the picture making its head look bigger.

It probably has jaws that can engulf a football if it wants, and ask the boy from turner and hooch what it was like to have its jaws around his knackers.

I know im sad

Unfortunately his testicles are in a jar somewhere...

Probably for the best

I thinks thats probably what he was used for before and when he didn't perform he was history....

Agreed.

I've had 3 cats from there. I did once go down there with the intention of getting a dog but left with a cat! I found walking round the dogs pretty upsetting TBH. There was one in particular that just stood with it's head pressed against the cage. The staff had put a wee sign up saying what his name was and that he had mental problems, and begging for an experienced dog owner to give him a home. At the time, he'd been there nearly 2 years.

It was really upsetting

Nice pooch BTW.

That is one big, ugly bassa of a dug.

Quality.

He just needs some loven, after all he been through, won`t change his looks but his eye will show it, he looks sad in them photos, but give him time he will be a great pet.

I have a feeling that the weight of the excess skin on his head will always make him look sad.

Almost half of those poor dogs are staffies or staffie crosses -- while I'm sure they're harder to rehome than other breeds, I think it's fair to say the rise in 'hardman' dog owners and the numbers you see there aren't just coincidence.

****.
