Cigaro Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 I have a leak on the rubber filler neck pipe thing on my car. (Section from the cap to the corrugated pipe). Its not huge, and only really happens if its squeezed. I have to drive to Selkirk tomorrow, would it be ok to temporarily duct tape it up? I know its a crappy question, but I think I need to know. Janbo1874 Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 Don't squeeze it. Used to have a leaking petrol tank which i tried patching up with the gum you get from Halfords and never worked. Could only put five quid of petrol in it and any more would pee out but in my youthful innocence i never saw it as a problem as in those days a fiver would last you all week.
