BlackhallJambo
Get yourself to the blue lagoon amazing experience bathing in warm thermal waters when your heads freezing cold. There are caves in the BL so be sure to take a hip flask and have a bevvy with the locals The golden circle tour included visits to gulfoss fallls and geysir which has er geysirs! Bear in mind that the sun rises around 10.30 and disappears around 3pm in the winter so sight seeing time is limited. Needless to say drink is very expensive but with the depreciation of the currency probably a bit cheaper than when we went. Enjoy

KW64
Article in today's Times with recommendations & links: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/destinations/europe/article4921233.ece We were there three years ago and it's a fantastic place. There is a tiny little cinema in Reykjavik called something like "Red Rock Cinema" which is worth visiting - they show some stunning footage of volcanic eruptions with a commentary by the guy who shot much of the film.
