the jambo poet
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/i/inverness_ct/7659626.stm Inverness Caley Thistle have agreed to terminate the contract of injury-hit striker Markus Paatelainen. The 25-year-old Finn missed the first six months of last season with an Achilles injury and suffered knee ligament damage in May. The Highlanders had extended his deal until December but the forward is still some way short of fitness. "He felt the best way forward was to remain in Finland," manager Craig Brewster told the club website. "He was very unlucky with injuries and let's hope that changes when he is at home. "It guarantees that I will bring in an extra body in January as we are definitely thin on the ground for players." Paatelainen, who began his career at Aberdeen, moved to Inverness from Cowdenbeath in January 2007 but made just 11 appearances for the Highlanders. why can't we do this with half of our squad? He's only been out 6 months pffft
