Sorry - but to my mind, the only way someone could support Rangers without actually being a fan is if it's in an Old Firm derby, or if a Rangers win will materially benefit Hearts (hence Gigalo-Aunt wanting them to win). Your explanation - that you hate Celtic - makes no sense given they weren't playing; unless you consider Rangers to be the only block to Celtic winning the league. Surely we're Hearts fans because there is the real risk we could end up worse than 3rd (and just maybe occassionally, we come second).
