Goals per game analysis

Recommended Posts

I think Miko is the top scorer in our squad, but has anyone got a comprehensive list of all the wage thieves......... sorry I mean 'players' in our squad with the total number of games played for the club and goals scored?

I think it would be VERY interesting. I wonder how it compares to other squads?

I don't think Miko or Driver have 10 goals. So not one player in double figures! Is this the worst record in WORLD football?

Thanks in advance

And just to keep people happy..............

This is a job for TC!

Or London Hearts

But seriously I think this would be shockingly interesting

Perhaps post our findings to Crappa Laslo

So that's depressing. Am I right in saying that Makela is the about only player in our squad ever to have finished a season in double figures goals wise?

The strikers bit is the only bit I'm concerned about. It's clear that if you shut down the Hearts midfield, you should be on for a clean sheet.

Anyone else thinks i8hibsh is having a nervous breakdown?

Some of the posts are getting more and more bizarre.

I picture i8hibsh as looking like Arthur Folwer when he flipped and tried to do a runner with the Christmas money.

What?

Oh, right enough, the guy's inherited a demoralised, disinterested squad and has failed to turn us into the best team in the league within his first 7 competetive matches. What a moron......

Inadvertantly I8H has come up with something vaguely interesting. The fact that Robbie Neilson doesn't score very often is hardly news but when you see the numbers of appearances laid out you see that most of them have yet to play in their 50th games for Hearts

Neilson : 222

Berra : 126

Mikoliunas : 115

Wallace : 86

Cesnauskis : 75

Zaliukas : 65

Stewart : 57

Driver : 55

Kingston : 38

Palazuelos : 36

Nade : 32

Ksanavicius : 31

Mole : 27

Makela : 20

Glen : 7

It reminds you of how young and inexperienced this squad is. Christophe Berra and Lee Wallace are practically Hearts Veterans by comparison.

'I'M DYING INSIDE. HEARTS ARE RUINING MY LIFE. MY BIRTHDAY WAS DESTROYED BECAUSE OF THESE WAGE THEIFS AND CRAPPA LASLO'

They are terrible numbers - with the exceptions of Makela and Glen.

Berra and Karipidis should be scoring more goals than they have. Up for every corner but they do not knock players out of the way to score goals. Nade, Mole, Ksnavicius, Palazuelos, Jonsson - all terrible ratios.

Why are there so many losers on here!!

I can't sleep at night and I am becoming the world most miserable person as I fear for my club EVERY day.

Have a look at those stats. Consider it the cold light of day............it is shocking!

Neilson 1 goal every 111 games - there are some goalkeepers with a better ratio

Our defence has almost 500 appearances and 9 goals!!!!!!!!!!!!

Defenders are never prolific but you expect them to head the odd one in now and again from a set piece.

Our midfield is about 300 appearances and 25 goals - midfield FFS!!!!!

Now here is the the shiniest gem of them all - strike rate

Makela 5 goals (3 of which was a hat trick against a 2nd div team).

Makela (not including substitute appearances) has played 20 times and scored in 3 games. He is a centre forward. I'd rather have Mole from Wind in the feckin willows than him!

I laughed and joked when the Hobos bought colin Nish. I would take him in a second over the shower we have.

Crappa Lazzlo sticks with him

Nade - er nuff said

Audrey - I'd rather have audrey Hepburn up front

I know the usual tree huggers on here will put a positive spin on those stats. If you do shame on you

You simply can't polish a turd!

Firstly, calling people losers because they don't share your opinion is pretty off, IMO.

Secondly, it's not a case of "putting a positive spin" on anything, merely a case of trying to see the least worst scenario in what we currently have, which I personally would rather do - great alternative to reaching for the JD and the razor blades. If you honestly expected a new manager to come in and transform the team instantly and on a shoestring, you obviously had much higher hopes than many of the rest of us.

The transfer window is over, we have 4 months before the next one opens, do we have to put up with your moaning for the next 4 months?

We are not going to get a prolific goalscorer until then, so really you're just going to be updating your stats and moaning the same moan each week.

Just to help you, I figure we could make it less boring by helping you with your Csaba bashing puns.

I can't be arsed going over your last post because I would be here all night ripping it apart but I have two questions for you.

1. Why are people who disagree with you 'tree huggers' WTF does that have to do with football or Hearts?!

2. Please tell me what position in the league is acceptable at this stage of the season.

Thanks in advance xxx

Hi sweetcheeks

The tree huggers are those fans that love absolutely EVERYONE and EVERYTHING at the club UNCONDITIONALLY

Being 7 points behind the OF after 7 games is unacceptable

I can assure you we will not be 3rd come Sat 5pm

We lose to killie and the tree huggers will still think we are doing well
