The event will take place at the Park Inn Hotel in North Street, in the heart of York and will include a Scottish dinner, a disco, a raffle, an auction, a quiz and a late bar.

Former Hearts stars Henry Smith and Roy Kay will be the guests of honour, and HMFC are currently working on trying to get a member of the present squad to join us too.

Tickets for the do are ?25 each, and can be ordered by emailing [email protected] - please send any payments by cheque to our treasurer: Sam Outing, 100 Bramble Dene, Woodthorpe, York, YO24 2RJ.

The event takes place on the night of Friday 28 November, starting at 7pm. Hearts at home to Rangers at 12.30pm the next day, and a lot of us will be travelling up from York by train in the morning, if you want to do likewise. Alternatively, if you want to make a weekend of it in York, the St Nicholas Christmas Fayre is on, and the Hearts game will be shown live in the White Horse pub in Bootham, 100 yards from York Minster.
