Unless the pic was taken by the OP, then it clearly could be a hoax. Sites like b3ta run weekly 'image challenges' on subjects like this. Amazing what mad skillz some folk have with Photoshop and the likes. I'm not saying it is a fake, just that I'd be a massive 0% surprised if it was.
