They had loads of old gas mask bags (you got the gas mask in it) and a parachute for $100. Bought myself a thick army shirt that I wear as a jacket. Maybe try somewhere around there, Cockburn Street or the like. I'd say that would be your best bet. You certainly MUST be able to buy them Edinburgh - you used to see stacks of them around town.
