was at Bon Iver at Shepherds Bush the other night. Despite him getting a good reaction, thought he was pish myself

the support were good though - the Bowerbirds - nice trio making slightly trippy semi-acoustic indie sounds

Bon Iver tomorrow night

Frightened Rabbit next week

The Hold Steady on 01/10

Okkervil River in November

make sure you see the bowerbirds if they are backing Bon Iver

His stuff seemed a bit overproduced to me - the phrase 'rocky mountain high' kept repeating in my head

Where are LMT playing about? They are the business, was looking forward to seeing them at T but the leaf singer got his jaw broken on a night out.

The Wombats suck eggs though.

Ryan Adams & the Cardinals at the Picture House in November. Probably the most hyped I've been for a gig for a long time, the guy is an absolute stand out IMHO.

Also going to see Oasis and the Wombats soon.

The best venue in Scotland I would consider is the Inn at Lathones Largoward by St Andrews - gigs coming up include Maggie Bell, Deborah Bonham Band (John's Sister), Simon Kirke (Free), Gordon Giltrap, Beth Chapman Neilson etc - all to an audience of 50!

Check out Mundell Music
