Parking!

Right, we stay at the end of a cul-de-sac with no pavement outside the house, in what the council term a "turning circle".

Now , we have problems with people parking right outside our gate ie. youv'e got to walk sideways to get out.

We've spoke to plod about it - We can't do nowt until the council put lines down.

We've spoke to the council about it - Phone the police.

What the hell are we meant to do apart from climbing onto the car and walking from boot to bonnet to get out or in (and getting huckled into the bargain)?

Seems like you have a solution staring you in the face....

You must have a nice, big pair of bikers' boots?

You should at least be able to get a white H marking laid although you may have to pay for it, and you do need the police to be onboard for enforcement

Illegal!

It's not illegal if you dont charge them to take it off iirc, but you have to leave contact details for it to be removed, so they could phone you to remove it but you happen to be (e.g.) in glasgow and will take you a couple of hours to get back.

I heared story at work a day recently where a disliked man had his car severely scraped by many seagulls.

All that is needed is some unused foods to be left on top of car front or roofed part. ;)

Get the police to phone the council. Might not speed up the solution, but it will take a whack off your phone bill.
