Golfclubs with no joining fee??

Not sure if Lothianburn still has that going, Swanston either.

 

Both can be a bit of a trek to get to dependent on where you are though.

You won't see in in the link above but if you give the club a ring they have (should still be on) an offer on for New Members...........something like ?133 for 1st year and a couple of lessons thrown in.

 

No waiting list..............after year 1 it will be back to normal charge - about ?450 annual.

No but my father has been a member of Swanston GC for nearly 50 years so I know about the sheep not being on the course.

 

He must be one of the longest serving members at the course if not the longest.

He was a very very good friend of Grants dad Alan.

 

They knew each other for more many many years and played together every week.
