The Wicker Man
I notice as I fill up on fuel from different garages they display various 'reduced' items to buy within the shop. These items seem quite varied - from the usual screwdriver sets, wind up torches to coloured patio lights. Has anyone ever bought one of these items? There doesn't seem to be many freebies ( ok with fuel purchases) nowadays -the only thing I've managed to collect were soup bowls/cups. I remember in the 70's Esso did the world cup coin collection and I think they also did a football club badge album - which was worth having but there were one or two hard to collect items that required a lot of bartering at school to get. Meadows
i got a Taiwanese Army knife. It's like a swiss army knife but cheaper. The only difference is you cant take stones out of horses hoof's,or open tins of beans,or bottles, and there's no scissors or screwdriver,it's not got a wee hoop to attach to your keyring and it's only got one blade. it was a bargain tho';)
