jazzmaster
Sorry to pester everybody but I have a problem when starting my computer, it seems to take about 5 minutes to load up all the crap I have on it. I know there is a way to quicken this up by only selecting certain things at start up but I don't know where this menu can be found. Any help appreciated. Many Thanks

The Brow
as above. Also get rid of every program you no longer run through add/remove programs in the control panel. The defrag it start>accessories>system tools>defrag. Should get you moving swiftly.
Bigsmak
get the trial version of this http://www.tuneup-software.co.uk/products/tuneup-utilities/ and it shows you everything that your computer is doing and it makes it easy for the non-super-it folk (like me) to understand! It costs to get the full version, getting it for free would be bad!
